About Us
We are scientists, physicians, ecologists, whitewater boaters, climbers, mountain bikers, and humanists.
Our unique combination of highly-mobile clinical excellence and experienced risk mitigation serves to expand the scientific reach of multiple federally-funded programs focused on climate change and human health, and high-altitude pathophysiology, and human extraterrestrial exploration.
We create leaders.
MGB SPEAR MED is the natural evolution of the MGH Division of Wilderness Medicine’s successes. We are expanding our expertise and need to re-brand in order to better represent the diverse impact of our mission.
We lead research, clinical care, teaching, and policy initiatives across the globe, with a special expertise in working on fundamental, universal, and under-appreciated mechanisms of health.
